I have proudly been working at Fanatics as the Senior Graphic Designer for 8 years. Through my experiences at this company I have been able to develop my design skills for print and web, as well as learn HTML and CSS. I currently design for 15+ partner stores and am the creative content manager of the flagship Fanatics site.
First freelance job after graduating college. A friend and I designed and coded from scratch this entire site. We used no template or word press type of site to create this for Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant located in Jacksonville Florida. It was a great learning experience working with a client, as well as working with a fellow designer.
In addition to maintaining the look and feel of partner stores at Fanatics, designers are also in charge of providing any extra materials to the partners and other departments within Fanatics. We create email campaigns for direct marketing to client send lists.
I enjoy designing whimsical cards for clients. It gives me an opportunity to focus on other non-sports related design work. Typography and vectors come together to create unqiue themes requested by the client.
Working with my father at Garber Photography I not only assist in the wedding and studio photography, but I also have the opportunity to create wedding invitations, save the dates, announcments and thank you cards.
Photography is what introduced to me to the design world. While attending the University of Florida working towards a photojournalism degree, I started to take design classes for newspaper and magazine layout and that's when I realized there was more I could do. I still have a passion for photography. I help my father's photography buisness on the weekends as well as take the opportunity to capture moments while traveling.
